Foaming with environmentally neutral blowing agents nitrogen and CO2 for the sake of the environment!

Promix specializes in physical foaming in extrusion. Depending on the application, foamed polymers offer a wide range of advantages.

Promix foam extrusion uses environmentally friendly nitrogen and CO2 blowing agents to introduce a microcellular foam structure into the extruded component. The main focus is on saving raw material costs. In the case of Light Foams and Particle Foams, the focus is on functional aspects such as thermal insulation, weight savings or stiffness.

What all applications have in common is that very uniform and fine-cell foam structures have significantly better properties than inhomogeneous, coarse-cell foams. With the development of Promix Microcell Extrusion, the company has succeeded in setting new standards in the field of fine cellularity and foam homogeneity. The technology combines unique key components, novel nucleation additives and process engineering know-how.
